Student Grievance Redressal Committee

The Committee was constituted on 31.07.2025 to enquire into the grievances, if any, received from the students directly or / referred by UGC in case the grievance is registered in the UGC Grievance Redressal Portal.  The committee enquires into the grievance and submits the report either to the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor or the UGC as the case may be.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Committee functions as a collective body and ensures that a reasonable opportunity of hearing is provided to both the student submitting the grievance and the party against whom the grievance is made. Its report is submitted to the competent authority.

The Committee endeavours to complete the hearing process as expeditiously as possible. The aggrieved party retains the right to prefer an appeal before the Ombudsperson.

The Committee operates in accordance with the principles of natural justice and any guidelines issued by the UGC from time to time
