Media & Communications Committee

The Media & Communications Committee’s role is to communicate myriad aspects of the University’s work and activities to the outside world, University stakeholders, current members of the University and the alumni network across the globe. As a leading law school in the country, the University’s research, academic output, social impact, and activities exists on a wide spectrum. In an age where the methods of communicating and consuming information are undergoing dramatic change, the University endeavours to rise to those challenges.

Mandate of the Committee

  1. To articulate and steward a coherent institutional voice by developing and implementing a comprehensive communication strategy that reflects the University’s intellectual leadership, academic rigour, and public mission.
  2. To shape and sustain the University’s public identity by establishing a consistent narrative across digital and traditional platforms, reflecting the University’s position at the forefront of legal education and policy discourse.
  3. To curate and amplify scholarly and institutional engagement by showcasing faculty expertise, student achievement, and academic initiatives, and by facilitating meaningful dialogue on contemporary legal and societal questions.
  4. To cultivate principled engagement with the media and the wider public sphere through sustained relationships with journalists, policy platforms, and peer institutions, ensuring accurate and impactful dissemination of institutional developments.
  5. To enhance institutional visibility with deliberation and integrity by strategically communicating key milestones, academic events, and collaborations in a manner that reinforces the University’s stature within national and global legal communities.
