Library Committee

The Library Committee serves as the principal advisory and policy-making body for the effective development, modernization, and management of the University Library. As the intellectual backbone of the institution, the library supports teaching, advanced research, and interdisciplinary scholarship.

Roles and Responsibilities

To build and maintain a modern, technology-enabled library that supports research and follows the best standards practised by higher education institutions in the country.

Key Functions

  • Recommends acquisition of books, law reports, journals, e-resources, databases, and other reference materials in emerging and core areas of law, management, and allied fields.
  • Reviews and recommends allocation of funds for procurement of physical and digital resources.
  • Encourages subscription to leading legal databases, e-journals, and digital repositories to facilitate advanced research.
  • Ensures the availability of comprehensive and up-to-date legal and interdisciplinary resources.
  • Promotes orientation programs, database training workshops, citation management sessions, and research methodology support.
