The Integrated Programme in Management (I.P.M.) at NALSAR is a five‑year, full‑time residential management programme for students after Class XII that leads to both B.B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from the NALSAR University of Law. It is offered by the Department of Management Studies (DoMS), which was established in 2013 to produce legally aware managers by integrating management education with law and allied disciplines.
The I.P.M. is offered at the NALSAR University of Law’s ‘Justice City’ campus in the Shamirpet Mandal of the Medchal-Malkajgiri District in Hyderabad, around 30 km from the city. NALSAR is a fully residential campus overlooking Shamirpet lake, with spacious, air‑conditioned classrooms, smart boards, sports infrastructure and multiple eateries and student spaces.
The I.P.M. is a five‑year integrated programme comprising ten semesters and 350 credits. Students who complete the requirements of the first three years can opt for a voluntary exit with a B.B.A. degree from NALSAR, while those who complete all five years receive both the B.B.A. and M.B.A. degrees.
The programme plans to include management skill development, legal and philosophical awareness, knowledge assimilation, real‑world problem solving and holistic personality development. It aims to nurture Level‑5 leadership skills, expert skill acquisition and industry‑readiness through internships, live projects and an interdisciplinary curriculum.

For admission to the 2026-31 batch, online registration has opened on November 30, 2025 and closes on May 20, 2026.
Admission to the I.P.M. uses scores from the NMET (UG) and the IPMAT (IIM Indore). Candidates must hold a valid score in at least one of these tests and may submit scores from both, in which case the University considers the best score.
NMET‑UG is NALSAR’s own management entrance test for aspirants to the I.P.M. and related programmes. It is a 100‑mark, 2‑hour computer‑based test conducted at designated centres and is designed to assess quantitative aptitude, analytical skills, language ability and business acumen.
The selection process considers performance in both the entrance test and the personal interview. 75% weightage is assigned to the entrance test and 25% to the personal interview when preparing the merit list.
Candidates are shortlisted for the Personal Interview based on their NMET (UG) or IPMAT (IIM Indore) scores, after they are converted to a percentage format. If a candidate has taken more than one accepted test, the best of the two scores is used for shortlisting.

The programme’s design emphasises the development of global managers and thought leaders who are legally aware and capable of handling uncertainty, complexity, and dynamic socio‑economic and technological environments. With interdisciplinary foundations, domain specialisations, and extensive industry exposure, graduates are expected to fit into leadership and managerial roles across sectors in business, policy and allied fields.
The I.P.M. consists of core, ability enhancement (compulsory and skill enhancement) and elective (discipline-specific and generic) courses, where each course can be of 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 credits. Each credit is equivalent to about 10 teaching/contact hours. The total credits offered during the programme are 350. Students are required to complete a minimum of 310 credits for the award of the integrated B.B.A.-M.B.A. degree.
Here’s a list of the specialisations, and all the electives being offered within them, in the I.P.M. The specialisations and electives are both subject to University regulations.
