NALSAR–Justice Bodh Raj Sawhny Memorial Moot Court Competition

The NALSAR–Justice Bodh Raj Sawhny Memorial Moot Court Competition is the flagship moot court competition of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, and is widely regarded as one of India’s premier Constitutional Law moots. The competition attracts participation from leading law universities across the country and has successfully completed 18 editions. Over the years, the moot has been adjudicated by distinguished guests including Justice (Retd.) B. N. Srikrishna, Justice (Retd.) Akil Kureshi, Senior Advocate Vibha Datta Makhija, Alok Prasanna Kumar, and Gautam Bhatia.

In recent years, the competition has also collaborated with the Nani Palkhivala Memorial Trust, which sponsors the Nani Palkhivala Award for the Best Speaker of the competition. The 18th Edition of the competition problem was drafted by the team of the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy.
