National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), Hyderabad and the Government of Andhra Pradesh have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in relation to the State government’s resurvey project to store digital records of land.

The University will render legal support in drafting, reviewing and preparing legal documents; imparting training; undertaking legal research; resolving land disputes; and spreading legal awareness among farmers for the YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhoo Hakku Mariyu Bhoo Raksha Padhakam project.

For this purpose, NALSAR’s Centre of Tribal and Land Rights (CLTR) has been engaged by the State government.
